The Red House DK

The Red House is a beautiful old Danish farm house built in 1848. It has 4 wings, built around a central cobbled courtyard. The old wooden doors and crittall windows are just a few of the many original features that the house retains. It sits in large gardens and has views over open countryside. The fields next to the house are home to our small farm - sheep, chickens, ducks and geese all wander round for you to see.

The house is currently being renovated into self-contained, self-catering hideaways for holidays from the summer of 2010.

Each wing will have a different style, and different use. The stables will be the first unit to be completed - ready in early summer 2010.

The Red House is a few minutes drive to the beautiful west coast beaches of either Houstrup or Nymindegab, 5 minutes from Blåbjerg nature reserve and sits just outside Nørre Nebel, with its banks, supermarkets, cafés, ice cream bars, restaurants and really good bakers.

The Stables is the first unit of the 4 wings to be completed. It’s been renovated in a simple style - white walls, slate floors and furniture that is an eclectic mix of old farmhouse and gorgeous Danish retro.

It is a totally self-contained section of the house.

You will have:
Your own entrance and garden
4 bedrooms (2 double, 2 twin) sleeping between 6-8 people
